MISSION & HISTORY.
The Alumni Exchange Association is an independent representative body for the United States Government Exchange Alumni. The Association strives to connect and empower all the participants of the exchange programs, past and present through professional development and alumni networking events. The main purpose is to create an independent organization that cultivates lifelong relationships with current and future alumni of the U.S. exchange programs.
Founding values and principles
(1) The Alumni Exchange Association is founded on respect for the
following values and principles:
(a) Diversity, equity and inclusion for all;
(b) Respect for and tolerance of our diverse personal cultural, and religious values.
(2) The principles of good governance which include:
(a) A commitment to innovation and excellence in all association activities;
(b) A commitment to sustainability and acting in an environmentally responsible way;
(c) A commitment to building strong communities and collaborations.
Our Objectives are to connect and empower all participants of the United States’ exchange programs, past and present through professional development and alumni networking events, and to create programs, events and activities that foster growth and development opportunities for alumni of the United States’ exchange programs in Zimbabwe.
